The Gel-Precision TR shoes I bought last year, size 10.5 4E, were fantastic, comfortable, supportive and durable. I've gotten them to pace their strides, walk and jog for hundreds or maybe thousands of miles on grass, pavement, concrete and linoleum, and only recently has internal support waned. Unlike my recent pairs of different brands, the body of the shoe hasn't deteriorated or come off the sole through all these walks. At the same time that I bought them, I bought a pair of ASICS Gel-Contend running shoes. , also 10.5 4E. They were awful: they never fitted properly, they had an insole that didn't even match the shoe, they fell apart easily and had poor arch support, and as these were the first ASICS shoes I've ever tried I thought I will return TR for a refund, unworn. I'm glad I didn't; The Gel-Contend might be the worst pair of shoes I've ever worn, but the Gel-Precision TR might be the best. I just ordered another pair.
