I bought this in the hope that I could exchange the circuit board for the one in my home Samsung as my Originally, the electronics are still in order, but the housing has almost collapsed over the years. I wanted to do this because OEM replacement parts are too expensive and I wanted to retain the original Bluetooth functionality (this replacement remote is IR only). It didn't work even though the two circuit boards/remotes are almost identical in size and shape and the OEM circuit board fits in the new case. In the attached pictures you can see two reasons why I couldn't swap the boards. 1) While the two edge grooves on the bottom of both boards match up nicely, the top two grooves don't match. All four notches must be in the same position to secure the circuit board and snap the console case together. 2) The following keys are arranged differently on both boards: Back, Play/Pause, Numbers/"123" and "ADVANCED". The power, volume, channel, and round bezel buttons are well aligned. All buttons must be aligned to use the new case and buttons. So I put everything back together and decided to just try this replacement remote as is. All in all, this is a pretty good remote. It's very responsive, the buttons work much better than on the original remote, and all the buttons and functions work as advertised, with no need for pairing to a TV. Although it's IR only, I think it's a better remote overall than the original Samsung. It would have been nice to put an OEM board in there, but it's a great replacement and I'd recommend it.
