I've been wearing Go Walks for many years and prefer bungee lacing to a traditional tie. Maybe I'm getting old and these are the best walking shoes, but I hate bending over and tying something tight to put it on. I just put them on and they fit perfectly and provide a comfortable ride. I suffer from neuropathy and the mesh and relaxed fit allows air to move as I walk and I typically walk 6 miles a day. I've tried many styles of Go Walks and this is usually because when I order a new pair they are either out of production or I can't get them in a larger size. I hope that this sole style will be available for a long time. In fact, I might order a few more pairs to have on hand just in case now that I have the perfect hiking shoe for a change. I really wish the soles would last longer and not wear out as quickly as I have to change them every 4-5 months because of the amount of walking I do. The best thing about this particular sole is that it doesn't catch those pesky little rocks in the grooves and you have to stop and dance to get them out of the grooves or worse, you have to stop and take off your shoes. and pull them out with your fingers. This has been a constant problem on Go Walks for years and this one doesn't have the deep grooves to catch these rocks. Now that I've found the perfect shoe from Sketchers, of course they're going to replace the sole of this shoe and I'll never see them again, so I'm ordering a few extra pairs! You can't go wrong with this!
