It was hard to decide between all the cheaper mattresses but after seeing so many negative reviews about the cheaper innerspring mattresses I decided to give one a go Take the risk and buy this foam mattress. I was worried about how comfortable it would be as some reviews say the mattress is thin and we don't sleep on a box spring but use a simple metal frame with bars so I was worried about feeling the bars. through the mattress. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this mattress actually was! Supplied in a light rectangular box (for some reason the top of the box was open but the contents are excellent). I thought it would take 24 hours to inflate to a decent height but after being out for about an hour he was ready to sleep. I didn't measure the actual height when inflated to see if it matched the description but whatever it was it was good enough. When I first climbed onto the bed, knees forward, I could feel the bars of the metal frame under the mattress, but when I sit or lie on the bed my weight is distributed and I'm perfectly comfortable. After sleeping on an air mattress for about a month, this was a big and comfortable change for me as a pregnant woman. You no longer have to wake up in a wet sweat, because a plastic mattress does not let air through, even when covered with a sheet. It has reduced the pressure/weight pain in my side while sleeping on my side and I feel so cozy and comfortable every time I lay down. I can't feel the metal bars when getting in and out, but it's such a minor issue that despite my "good intentions," I'll probably never end up with it. Air bed is that it is a little warm at night. My husband gets hot and it's definitely a little bland. Ultimately this may be more due to the mattress being bed bug resistant so without bed bugs it may be more breathable and less warm but personally I like the mattress. I bought it for just under $139. including free shipping through Revain Prime. I've searched IKEA for a while (where I previously bought a LARGE innerspring mattress for less than $150 but is now out of stock) and also looked for deals on Wayfair and Macy mattresses but ended up with this the best deal i could find i found on cheap mattresses with free shipping and got a product i was happy with. If you are on a budget and looking for a cheap mattress then this is the one for you. This is my first Maitress without a feather and I like her very much. There are suggestions to buy a topper to make it softer but I will sleep in bed with my baby and this is probably the softest I will wear when sleeping with my baby. In fact, I will probably only leave the baby in bed together until the baby is a few months old because the softness of this mattress can be risky if the baby sleeps directly on it. Great buy - if you're in between a couple of doubts - take this one!
