The fabric is stretchy enough to sit or walk in comfortably.
This is a very cute skirt. The mid skirt fits a 5'7" 140 lb athletic woman perfectly (pant size 4/6, 28" waist), even at the waist, which to me is unusual for denim skirts. Patchwork denim is cute and unique, and the fabric stretches enough to be comfortable to sit or walk in. The model is shorter than on the model. Can be easily machine washed and dried.
