I was disappointed with my new Keurig Hot 2.0 coffee maker. My favorite coffee is available from local coffee bean vendors. For the past few years I've used a non-Keurig brewery, bought beans and ground them myself for very fresh coffee. After switching to Keurig, I was happy to see that it came with the My K-Cup 2.0 filter. I could fill it up with my ground coffee and make my favorite cup of coffee without throwing more k-cups in landfills or paying high prices for 12 or 18 cups of coffee. I was happy until I tried it and found that no matter how coarse I grind the coffee, there is a lot of very fine "coffee sludge" at the bottom of the brewed cup. I lost 2 ounces of coffee in each cup just trying not to drink all the mud at the bottom of the cup. Then I ordered and tried EZ-Cup filters. I put the filter in place, filled it with ground coffee, closed the paper filter lid and then added the plastic lid on top of My K-Cup. Pop it in the brewer and you've got a near-perfect cup of coffee. There was still very, very little sludge in the cup, but I don't lose coffee because there is so little sludge it's not really worth mentioning. Thank you EZCup! You made good coffee again.
