Still works great

I've had this remote for a few years now and it still works great. It's not "forgetting" what to do. Programming was as simple as entering model numbers and choosing a setup method. I had to change a few buttons as there is no DVR button or LiveTV button. It took a few tries to get exactly what I wanted, but after tweaking it, it's been working ever since. I've changed a few things recently, moving the TV and adding another component, and changing this with the remote couldn't be easier. I'm pretty good with computers and I understand that this can be a little difficult if you're not good with computers, but it's actually very easy. The touchscreen still works well even with a light touch. I had to find my own custom channel buttons, but it wasn't that hard. Perhaps Logitech now has a wide choice. The hard keys still look the same as they did when new, nothing that I've noticed is worn. The remote control feels good and the buttons are in the right place. The touchscreen is at the top where it should be. If you hold the remote control as intended, you will not accidentally press the touch screen and cause damage. Using this for a theater setup makes it easy to access your devices and control them individually when you need to fine-tune something. The battery still holds a charge after all this time. I usually get about 3-4 days of heavy use before it needs a recharge, just like it was when new. I have a charger behind my tv so when I go to bed at night I just pop it on the charger and I can work a few more days. You will love this remote control and its ease of use.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
