First off, disclaimer: I bought these a few weeks ago and haven't had a chance to wear them while riding. However, when I wear them at home and in the city, the jeans appear high-quality and look like normal jeans even with armor on. They're a little baggy at the bottom for my style these days, but that's not funny. I've seen a couple of reviews saying the knee pads are too low - they actually have a pretty sophisticated insertion system where there are 5 velcro points in the knee pad insert so you can adjust it as high or low as you like. If I just put them in the first slot, they're like a chin guard. I thought I could play soccer with them. But when I got to the highest slot, they were perfect. When I sit down they are exactly where I want them and they are easy to walk on too. I wish the hip pads were a bit higher but that's ok. Jeans look good, I hope I never have to find out how good they are. I've listed a few cons, but since they're a lot cheaper than most other riding jeans, I think they're fair. Can't wait to ride them in a week or two - unless there are random issues (button falls off or something) I would recommend them and buy them again.
