Review on RGTech Monarch 50 Flat Antenna for Indoor HDTV - Multidirectional Reception up to 50 Miles for Enhanced UHF/VHF/FM/USB TV Tuner/DVB-T/DAB Radio Reception by Chris Long

I only bought this for FM radio so can't comment on how it performs on HDTV. My wife hated the dipole antenna I had on my stereo so I decided to try this optically minimal antenna. My stereo tuner is digital and only works on strong stations. That gave me about 12 channels. The reception was ok but nothing special. When the RG antenna arrived I opened the box and unplugged it to make sure it matched my stereo jack. It looked like a seat, so with some effort I connected the antenna. I turned on the tuner and couldn't believe my ears. The sound was crystal clear. I started hitting the tune button and it stopped at almost every station. Every station tuned in was almost as good as a CD in quality. I pulled the antenna out and lifted it out of the box and it now sits on the bottom shelf about 3 inches off the floor behind the receiver where my wife can barely see it. I live on the top floor, so maybe that's why I don't have to put the antenna up. Now I'm going to test it on my digital TV and if it works just as well I'll buy another one. After the test I will give an additional rating.
