Check your audio settings if the volume buttons aren't working.
I have an Insignia Roku TV model ns-32dr420na16. At first the volume didn't want to work. From the home screen I went into settings and had to make sure the TV speakers were on. Now everything works fine. There is a very slight delay when changing the volume, but it's not much different from the original.
