I bought this backpack for a 2 day climb of the Zugspitze in Germany. Firstly, the backpack arrived faster than expected and looked even better in person than in the photos! Since I was traveling from the US to Germany in one transfer, I didn't want to check any of my bags and risk losing my climbing gear. This means I had to pack my Roamm Highline 30 to the max, maybe a little more than intended, but I got everything there and the pack made an international trip with no split seams or zippers. very well done! Despite being stressed beyond their intended performance, the waistbelt and suspension system worked great, were very comfortable and offered enough breathability to keep you cool. Highline 30 was perfect for a 2 day climb! I really liked the different storage compartments. There was a larger one for all my large gear and then a smaller one to organize all my small items without getting lost in the large compartment. There was also another smaller compartment at the top outer for easy access to things you might need on a regular basis. Since there were a lot of rocks on the hike, I took my helmet with me and four loops on it. The back of the bag fits perfectly with my helmet mount from my other bag. The characteristics of the bag are clearly visible. For example, the loops for hiking poles and ice axes made it clear where the poles should be and where the ax should go. one. I have really enjoyed using this backpack and look forward to more trips that will give me a reason to buy another Roamm backpack!
