WORKS PERFECTLY. Won't break like battery-powered sharpeners!
We love this sharpener. All of our pencils are now super sharp and the process just got easier! There is an extra step to open the handles to insert the pencil, but this step is tiny and SO worth it. The sharpener stops sharpening when the pencil is finished. We only had one "jam" when the lead inside the grinder broke off, but that was quickly resolved. I had the kids sharpen any pencils they could find around the house for 10 cents a pencil - they made $23 and the sharpener still works great. We've tried several battery-powered sharpeners and they all jam easily. If you try to open them to fix them, they just break. I can absolutely recommend this sharpener.
