ATTENTION! The colors in the samples do not match the description. Be sure to order by the description, not the picture. I ordered what I thought to be dark red. When it arrived it was light blue. Sent back blue and ordered dark red. The dark red is a lot lighter than I expected but I can live with that. If you are unsure of the size, I would choose smaller, not larger. I wanted a roomy, comfortable jacket and ordered XL first because I was concerned the large size would be too small (I wear the large almost everywhere - 6ft/200lbs). After reordering I went for the large one and probably could have chosen the medium one. Like all North Face products, the jacket is well made. 3 stars (just ok) more for the color than for the quality.
