Review on 🔧 Enhanced Performance with Standard Motor Products FV5 Fuel Valve by Michael Moonin

I needed to replace the 6 way single port fuel selector valve on my 1975 Chevy K20. They no longer sell the single wire version so I had to go for the multi wire version which also switches the gauges inside the valve rather than the dash switch. I used a Delco momentary AC switch (speaks fully depressed) which only provides voltage when you push the switch all the way down (it doesn't work for the fuel pump circuit). The return lines on this valve are 5/16, not 1/4, so prepare to swap them out if you have 5/16. Connect the auxiliary tank sensor wire to one of the other original wires on the switch to route it to the valve. Overall this worked for my application, but it was very difficult to reconfigure the original wiring harness to make it work.
