This power supply was purchased to replace a 500 watt power supply that I have owned for several years. Plugged it in and everything was great at first. After about a month, I noticed that my case's RGB started randomly flickering. At first I assumed my RGB controller was the problem so I bought a replacement and the problem persisted. I spent another month isolating the problem by removing all fans, RGB strips and RGB AIO to no avail. So there was just one more thing to check and I went back to my 6 year old 500 watt power supply. The problem is solved. I requested an RMA from EVGA and the process to credit them went smoothly. About a week after I sent them my original PSU, I received a new PSU. The replacement is worse than the original. The seizure-inducing light show continues. I've contacted EVGA again, but I'll probably choose a different power supply for now. The fact that their quality department. Sending in a faulty power supply to replace a faulty power supply worries me.
