If you're buying this mug, you're buying it because it looks cool (it is). Buy it because it's compact (it is). Buy it for the same reasons someone buys a coffee mug. Just don't buy it because you think you're helping the environment. This is a plastic cup made in China. Easy and uncomplicated. I searched their website, contacted them and reviewed the scientific literature env. The glasses are made from recycled paper and that's why they look so cool! There is no evidence that these cups are safe for the environment. It's all talk. Here's the bottom line: If you care about the environment, there are things you can do to help. Buying a coffee mug will never be one of them. These are cool looking plastic cups though!
