I've been using this tray and these trays for 3 years now and can't believe I'm still spending money on them. Based on my 3 year experience with them I can actually confirm the false claims they are making about this product. Let's go through the list of their requirements, shall we? First, each bowl should last 20-30 days for a cat. Well I have a cat and if I don't change the litter box in 1.5 to 2 weeks there will be urine all over the floor underneath. That means I have to replace each tray every 1.5-2 weeks. That means I now spend nearly $30 a month on fountain pens. When I had two cats, I rotated these bowls WEEKLY. If you have two cats, you can forget about them unless you are a millionaire. The brand claims these bowls are airtight, which I just denied. We even put urine pads under each tray because they even leak with plastic wrap on the bottom AND put a top cover under the bottom tray for extra protection. Mold grows on feces and urine as they collect on the floor. Tray resulting in extra smell - disgusting. The brand boasts that the crystals are slippery and won't stick to pets' paws, but I find small blue crystals all over the house and sometimes in my bed - gross, again. The crystals don't have a smell that I like but do absolutely nothing to hide the smell. And that even though I change the box every 1.5-2 weeks! My laundry room constantly smells of urine. From all this, the cleaning turns into a disaster. I have to wear gloves or I'll be pissed all over, I have to tape all four corners of the box so it doesn't open and explode if I put it in a garbage bag, and I have to sweep up the crystals and wipe up the piss every time I change boxes . The more I type the crazier I am that I've been using this product for 3 years. smh Find another solution right this second - lol!
