These multi-purpose kitchen scissors are fantastic. I can't say enough good things about it. First, it's solidly built. Sharp and thick blades that stand up to the toughest tasks in the kitchen. I cut a whole chicken with no problem. Unlike other kitchen shears, this pair includes a bottle opener, nutcracker, fish peeler, as well as a vegetable peeler, cake cutter and screwdriver. I just chopped carrots for carrot salad. The bottles open easily and I cracked walnuts with no problems. Haven't used a fish scaler yet, but it looks sturdy enough to do the job well. I tried tightening a couple of interior door handles with a screwdriver. That was great. It comes with a magnetic case so the scissors can be conveniently stored upright on the fridge or other magnetic device. The price corresponds to the quality and functionality of the scissors. In addition, the blades are easy to clean as they can be removed by opening the blades at their widest point. Every detail of these scissors has been carefully considered.
