Review on 🔧 JACO Elite Digital Tire Pressure Gauge - Precise Professional Accuracy - High Capacity up to 100 PSI by Todd Cowdrey

I work in the automotive industry as a driving and handling engineer, so tire pressure is my life. I bought this gauge after losing a much more expensive Longacre digital gauge. Of all the tire gauges and tire inflators I've used, this one produces the most reliable valve stem pressure seal I've ever seen, no leaks or wobble on the valve stem. Pressure readings are fast and consistent between readings. I would like the exhaust valve to release air a little faster. The display is very clear and easy to read. It's larger than other digital sensors I've used in the past. The backlit display is also a great feature not found on the more expensive devices I've used. It's also nice that the display shows battery life, and AAA batteries are common and easily available. It is also pleasing that no tools are required to remove the battery cover. Battery life time will tell. The pressure gauge is easy to hold and easy to use. The size is also great for a cup holder, map case, glove box, center console, back pocket or backpack depending on intended use and storage. In terms of accuracy, I've found that my particular device reads about 1psi below the actual reading of our certified and calibrated device, regardless of air pressure. I was a bit disappointed with this as the percent error at 32psi is about 3%. Much more than specified by the manufacturer +/-0.5%. The average buyer won't notice or worry if they never test it on a certified device. Despite this inaccuracy, for the price and features, I would buy another without question. UPDATE: Jaco Products contacted me about the 3% error in the device they received and sent me a new sensor. The new gauge differs by approximately 1.5% (0.5 psi) from our calibrated 32 psi gauge. The error increases to 1.7% (0.8 psi) at 45 psi. Great customer service from them and improved accuracy but still not as advertised.
