I'm not sure if this cover is the only problem or if it's a problem with all covers, but it makes typing a little more difficult and requires it of you Press harder on the keys. Without the cover, my typing feels light and easy, but with the cover, I feel tired and I get tired from typing. That's why I take the lid off when I'm using programs or doing tasks that require a lot of typing, like writing this review. Another possible negative point is that the cover blocks most of the light coming from the keyboard. I don't usually use the keyboard in a dark room or anywhere else, so it doesn't bother me, but I've noticed it. Other than that, it's a really great case. The color is fantastic and it seems really durable as it is so light and thin. The fit is great and even all function keys fit perfectly on top. I like that it's a bit difficult to take off so I know it will stay in place once I put it on. My kids are impressed with it and it helps protect my laptop from their dirty fingers. The purchase was definitely worth it. :)
