EXCELLENT kids thermals. Inside super soft. wash well Both of my children were very warm during our drive to Mammoth (daytime temperatures on the slopes are around 40 degrees). I got the XS for my almost 4 year old boy (39.5 inches and 34 pounds) and they fit exactly as you would expect in a base layer - close to the skin but not too restrictive. I got the girls version in a small size for my tall 6 year old girl (47.25"/ 52lbs) and they fit great too but she will probably need a size up next season (a little snug on her than her brother but it's a bit thicker!) Great value for the top and bottom set.
