According to my son, these shoes are fine. They are well made with a removable insert. He said the sole wasn't as resilient as it was on his last pair of shoes. Because he has heel problems, he needs a soft enough sole, and it's not as soft as he would like. There is very little arch support, which is good for him. He doesn't like having a high arch support pressing down on his leg. They fit well and are true to size. I would say these shoes are very good for most kids and will probably hold up well given the quality of the material and stitching, but are a bit stiff for my son and his heel issue. Page.
