Not so easy good for filter accessories
I had a good idea to use it along with my usual filters, but to be honest it didn't work. It might have helped keep the water clear for a few extra days but it wasn't worth it for me and I ended up throwing the product away. Your best bet is to use regular filters, and if they don't work you can just upgrade your filter system like I did.
- Always change your filter mat regularly to maintain high water quality and keep your aquatic animals happy! Regular replacement of the filter pad removes organic solids before they break down and cause algae growth or ammonia build-up. Always place the top of the open fiber filter in running water.
