I call it the 4.5. For the $62 I paid this is a pretty decent chair. Got this to replace a 10 year old slightly cheaper mesh back chair. The seat cushion has become thinner due to age and you could feel the seat bolts in the rear. I like to sit on my feet and often this bolt hit the tip of my toe. I wanted a white chair to match my desk which is an IKEA Kallax/Linnmon combo. The chair doesn't quite fit him, but that doesn't really matter. Some people had problems with coloring. I have a pair of Uniqlo jeans that get dirty and don't soil this chair, but I was also careful while sitting on it. I use an average of 3-4 hours a day. The chair can be adjusted in height on my desk, which I like, and there is plenty of space on the seat and back. There is a slight chemical smell when you unpack it, but that goes away after a day or two. The wheels are good and roll easily without getting stuck on my mat. The seat/back padding is thick and soft, with low internal stiffness. I'm giving it a 4.5 because the edge (the silver border around the seat and backrest you see in the photos) doesn't connect and the piece is a bit wavy. I understand that with this volume there should be a break in the design of these types of chairs, but it's a small noticeable break. The ripple I believe is because this tape appears pliable. It's not a big deal, just something noticeable and doesn't affect the comfort of the chair, which is good. Edit: I accidentally got a small pen mark on the front center of the seat. I've tried Water Purification, Scrubbing Bubbles, Oxi-Clean, Shout, Nail Polish Remover and Tilex because there weren't any bad ideas. The stain has faded but not completely removed; Removing nail polish proved to be the most effective. However, I rubbed it a little hard during the Scrubbing Bubbles treatment, so maybe I put it in. It will probably go away over time since it's right under my feet on the seat. Edit 2: in a few weeks. After a few months, this pen stain was 99% gone. If I look closely because I know where it is, I can barely see it. If you didn't know he was there before, you wouldn't see him now. Edit 3: 16 months old with the chair and it's still great and still white with barely noticeable wear and discoloration on the seat. I say the backrest is 99-100% as it came out of the box and the seat may be 90-95%. Otherwise there are no problems with the chair. Edit 4: It's been two years with the chair. Part of the seat has a slight greyish discoloration from lifetime use and the material has slightly cracked in two places on the seat. I also have another random grip mark on the chair, this time on the side. Like the other tag, it's going away, but not as quickly as the other because that tag is less affected.
