I have an iRobot i7. When I read reviews of iRobot brand replacement brushes, others complain that the brushes don't last as long. Rather than shelling out $34.99 for an iRobot brush, I figured I'd save some money and buy a third-party replacement brush since the original brush wears out quickly anyway. So for the actual product review, it is a set of two brush sticks. The brushes are the same color as the OEM iRobot and are almost the same size, although not exactly. There appears to be the same sponge/foam in the wands as the iRobot wands, although this hasn't been confirmed as I haven't cut the brush yet. I had some trouble inserting the brush into the gear area; Square with square and hexagonal gears. The Coodss square and hex pins are 0.5mm larger but I can still use them. If I wanted I could maybe use an Xacto knife or sandpaper to reduce the thickness of these pins a bit. Roomba does sound different with the new brushes in the i7 - maybe it's because my previous brushes are badly worn - but the noise seems to have gone after 5 minutes of vacuuming. I have mostly wood floors with carpet around a few living areas. The new brush bar has definitely improved Roomba's performance. Aside from the pen sizes not being spot on, the Coodss brush bar does a good job as a cheap replacement. To update. After about a day, the light green brush roll will separate from the inside of the cylinder. This will cause the light green roller to spin freely and stop cleaning. I returned it.
