Nice design good for bassinet

First of all I should say that I don't use it in a car so it won't be exposed to heat/cold and bumpy roads. To that end I can't vouch for the durability although I believe it will work perfectly. I use this mount to hang my iPad Air 2 on specially designed shelves on my desk. I installed a thick metal disc on each side of my computer monitors so I can move the iPad in any direction if needed. In the end I chose this magnetic mount for this purpose, it has the most flexibility. I can put thick discs anywhere to fix it, but the mount itself can also be attached to any metal surface, making it handy for use in the kitchen for cooking recipes etc. The bracket is very strong. In fact, this is one of the most beautifully crafted pieces of metal I have ever seen. Most magnetic phone/tablet holders are plastic and cheap looking with lots of curves, it's a beautifully finished metal and very durable. Holding the iPad Air 2 is easy: the bracket hangs perpendicularly at two 45-degree angles from the bottom of the shelf. It doesn't sag or move at all, which is very impressive considering its relatively small size. I don't know if it will last longer, but so far so good. The only problem I had is the adhesive on one of the two thick metal discs I installed under my shelf. One of them completely failed, luckily it was when I reconnected the iPad to this drive that the iPad was in my hands. The adhesive on these discs is 3M VHB, an incredibly strong material so I'll attribute it to user error. The shelves are made of wood, so it is possible that it is not a completely smooth surface. I ended up removing all the glue and used Gorilla Glue to attach it to the shelf. It's so thin you can't see it and I'm more than happy to have it permanently attached. The adhesive on the other drive and the adhesive on the back of the iPad are rock solid, so the mistake was definitely my own. I don't know if this mount can handle something much bigger/heavier than an iPad Air, but I wouldn't hesitate to place any phone or small tablet on it. I'm seriously considering buying it for my car as it worked so well. If you are looking for a phone/magnetic mount with maximum flexibility and beautiful design, this is the one for you.
