Open the grease cap on top of the tool with the special wrench. There will be some lube in the chamber, but not enough. Fill it up with fat. Run the tool in combination hammer/drill mode for a few minutes. This allows the grease to penetrate the gears. Open the chamber and refill with lube. After that, check the lubricant level before each use. Wipe the grease off your hands with the instruction manual and throw it in the trash. ;-) Generously grease the wedge shaft of each SDS-Plus bit separately before inserting it into the drill.
