It's pretty easy to install.
It didn't solve my problem for me. I have a badly worn cable in my 20 year old RV and it has more breaks than I could find. Now I need to run a new cable through the wall to complete the installation. Although it was difficult working in the upper cabinet to strip the wire and prep it for this plug, my wife was able to do it like a pro. I would hire her any day. Make sure your cord is the right size for the plug you are purchasing. My RG59 is probably very outdated. In any case, a new race with RG6 should help us. I hope we don't hit an internal structure.
