Great for the price but with one small problem

I bought this to use as a backlight with a pair of Neewer 480 LED bulbs I wanted one with barn doors so I could have a little more control over the light have . In general, the light output was what I expected. I can shoot video with a wide open Ζ’1.7 lens at 1/60 and ISO 400 with these soft focus insert lights. It's not super bright, but it's bright enough to work with the video I'm trying to shoot. I don't know if this works offline for much slower glass video. I have softboxes that put out more light, but they're uncomfortable and CFL bulbs often break. The only issue I see in this particular case is that the light stand mount only has a hole in the bottom. . The problem this causes is that you can't tilt the light down when the barn doors are in place, making them useless in more than a few situations. Strangely, another pair I bought without barn doors have a bracket that can be used on the side. I've swapped them out and they're great for my needs, but if you don't have others this might be an issue. Accurate temperature control is also an issue, but you can use a gray card and sort it out. in your cell. Overall I think it's great, but I can't give the lamp 5 stars. If I could, I would take 4.5.
