This steel mug has served me well. I never thought I'd get compliments on my rough face. So the aesthetic part of it is right, but where it falters is that it can be used as a coffee mug. Bad idea, it gets very hot. Be sure to pour coffee from a mug onto the counter or, if you're feeling brave, hold it by the handle. This thing feels hot. I've burned myself a few times carrying this to my desk. Here's the thing, I don't usually drink hot coffee. Unlike a foam mug, this mug has no thermocouples. This allows my coffee to cool down within 10-15 minutes, which is the perfect amount of time for me to enjoy my morning tea. It takes me about 20 minutes for a styrofoam cup to cool down enough for me to drink. This product turned out to be the mug I was looking for and suits my everyday use. Another plus is that it keeps you cold and I feel cool with a chilled drink.
