Review on 🤿 MSA 815696 Advantage Half Mask Respirator: Superior Protection for Breathing Safety by Josh Chenier

I have this mask (it was issued by my old employer) and I'm comfortable using it during the pandemic. It is listed on the CDC personal protective equipment list in combination with p100 filters. I have purchased 2 sets of P100 filters and still have the P100 activated carbon chemical filter that was on display. Combine this half mask with eye protection goggles and you are done. Note: Breathing through these p100 filters is not easy due to the resistance created by the filter, and a small amount of exhaled air remains in the mask, making shallow breathing impossible. Do not use this until you reach the parking lot of a store/pharmacy, etc. In the car, put on the mask and goggles, use nitrile gloves, tighten the straps and check for leaks. Make sure your face is shaved for the best print. When I'm done shopping, I throw away the gloves, take off my glasses and mask, and then put the mask and glasses in a plastic box with a lid to disinfect later. MSA manufactures germicides for disinfection.
