. I used a magenta cartridge and it worked fine, but later I tried using black and cyan photo cartridges and my printer didn't recognize them and then it shows this message printer error. Turn the printer back on. See your documentation for more details. I looked at the user manual and it says an afatal error has occurred. Turn the product off and then on again. If the error persists, check if paper or protective material is jammed inside the machine. If there is no paper or protective material jam, contact Epson for assistance. There is no jammed paper or protective material in the printer. If I take those ink cartridges out and put the original ink cartridges back in, the error message goes away and then just says the ink needs to be replaced. Now I have to buy ink again because these cartridges give a fatal error.
