Review on Men's Black Leather Deep Pocket Over 👖 Pants with Side Laces by Milwaukee Leather - SH1987 by Sean Lafond

I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out what size to buy with these pants so thought I'd share my findings. My bare waist measures 40 inches. Depending on the brand, I can wear jeans in different sizes from 34 to 40. These pants, size 36, fit me very well when I wear them without jeans underneath and when I have them tight. The side drawstrings allow the pant's waist to be extended by approximately 5 inches overall, allowing it to be worn over jeans. I've worn them over belted jeans with no problem. Wearing two pairs of pants makes them a bit bulky when sitting on a motorbike, but nothing. too uncomfortable. I believe the trade-off between warmth and added protection is worth it. I typically wear pants that are 30-32 inches long with about 6 inches off the bottom of the legs. I think the length fits 38 no problem. Pants are not hemmed and can be trimmed in length. The leather on these pants is quite thick and stretchy and I am happy with the quality. The belt loops are smaller than I think they should be. I have a 1-1/2 inch belt that fits the loops snugly, but they can stretch over time. The general build quality is a bit lacking. I had a belt loop that was barely sewn on and a button that broke (from the manufacturer). I have a suitable thick needle and thread so I fixed the belt loop. The broken clasp was at the bottom of one leg, it was clipped and discarded to fit so it wasn't a problem for me. The denim style button at the top fly is a known weak point on these pants and I can see why. I haven't had any problems so far, but I'm always careful when buttoning and unbuttoning. I've looked at better quality pants from other manufacturers, but they cost $500 and up. They are a great alternative to more expensive items and can last for many years with proper care and maintenance. I would definitely buy them again. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because they aren't perfect.
