The color is lighter than the picture, which didn't bother me. However, the fabric itself didn't seem the best to me as it was thinner and coarser than another brand's fabric I tried. Loops are also not legal loops; Instead of the usual zigzag stitch that leaves a nice stabilized edge, it looks like it's literally a hole cut in the fabric, with a single running stitch line around the hole. I've never seen anything like this. As the product is intended for a child this was a completely pointless decision by the manufacturer and I issued a return within 5 minutes of opening.
