Review on 🔘 Sleek Silver SRAM Paceline Rounded Rotor - Centerlock - 160mm: A Must-Have for Smooth Braking Performance by Joshua Albright

Sturdy and heavy rotors

For those who want to know, this rounded 160mm centerlock rotor from SRAM Paceline weighs exactly 160 grams. For comparison, the main competitor's Ultegra and 105 rotors weigh 110 and 140 grams, respectively I guess it depends on how fat you are and what kind of deal you can find, but these SRAM Paceline rotors are some of the heaviest on the road by any measure, which makes me wonder how SRAM use them as their road designated. specific model. The SRAM Centerline, which can usually be found around the same price (not the X version), is also 20-30 grams lighter. Yes, I'm obsessed with overall weight, but on a road bike that I also use for racing, it's not the direction I want to go. have centerline rotors on a different set of wheels, and while they're not the lightest, they're quite good and do a very good job of dissipating heat: even after heavy braking when descending into a corner, their thermal distortion is minimal to the point where the Rotor doesn't rub itself off at all, which is impressive. These Paceline rotors share the same pad design and therefore have similar performance. If that is what you want and you don't care about the weight then I would advise you to take these and you will be happy.
