This was just what I needed for my Dyson V7. However, a few things should be noted. Like all Dysons, it's too expensive for a piece of plastic with bristles attached. Let's hope it lasts longer than the original, which in just two years of use (maybe 15 minutes a week) has already completely erased the black stubble. If yes then I will be willing to update this review. The delivery was a bit slow but I knew it in advance and had no inconvenience. Easy install as I'm pretty good at taking this off to clean frequently (girls with long hair will do this. :) It really improved performance as expected.
