This is a great external monitor

Where to start. This is a great monitor for filming, blogging, interviewing, etc. I was a bit concerned about liking the touchscreen, but as it turns out I really like it. Just double-click to open the menu and click again to close it. It is so easy. You don't have to try to memorize the many custom functions of buttons that don't have labels. The ability to quickly zoom in and adjust the brightness as conditions change with a quick tap or swipe proved extremely handy. The monitor is bright enough to be seen in almost all conditions and the included lens hood really helps with outdoor shots. This monitor is the perfect size and weight. I'm using this on a Zhihyun trainer with a7iii which can get heavy after a while so I'm grateful this monitor doesn't add much weight. Cables needed for rolling. Runs on regular Sony batteries and can also use a standard 12V DC power supply which I find very handy. Audio output from surveillance/recording, and one of the coolest features is the memory card slot and the ability to preload loot. This allows you to see in real time what your footage will look like when using your favorite looters, allowing you to make adjustments to the lighting etc. It makes post-processing easier and I'm not sure I can go back to my old monitor now. after using this function. If you've never tried shooting like this, I think you should definitely try it! I would say you are looking for a cheap external monitor. Must see! I am sure you will like it.
