Dust? Soot? - Foot, Hand & Nail Care

Ugh. Okay, I'm not new to nail powder. I know how they are supposed to work. I'm a Simplynailogical fan, I've bought from Born Pretty before, I just decided to try another brand. It's not worth your time You get 8 but only 4 are remote quality. The colors in the bottom row are absolute rubbish. They look like they're made out of 25% glitter and 75% soot or dust. I tried to keep a positive attitude because I thought it would look different on the nail, but no. It reacted like 1 part glitter to 3 parts dust. The other 4 and thankfully the holographic powder look fantastic in a jar. But for some reason they are having the HARDEST TIME polishing their nails. As I said, this is nothing new to me. I have tried and tested brands of gel nail polishes that, when set, dreamily turn into other nail powders, but this one. They acted like there was oil on my nails or that the polish wasn't fully cured, although I know that wasn't the case. And I've tried several times! I made them look good, but it was MUCH more effort than necessary. If you want my advice, just skip them and go to Born Pretty. They don't pay me, but their powders are just better.
