I have four dogs, the smallest is 14 pounds, the largest is 78 pounds. Each of them has received a Salt Dog collar over the years. I am always looking for affordable quality. These collars have been doing their job for a couple of years now and the only time I've had to replace one was when my younger terrier grabbed one (which the dog didn't have at the time) and chewed through the latch. He succeeded twice. So two replacements are not the fault of the collar itself. I live by a lake so my dogs swim and I wash my mesh collars in the washing machine in a gentle environment. Sure, the oldest is a bit faded and worn, but so am I, and we're all doing a great job. And the price is much cheaper, especially if you have limited funds for four of these creatures. I saw that there are 4 stars on the list, I'll say 5.
