Even before my longboard fell out of my grip, knocked over two more boards and caused damage that cost far more than this storage tool, I was about to write a mediocre Valuation. And then I wanted to skip it because I don't like to complain. But nothing is more frustrating than watching a few thousand dollar surfboards fall and bounce off various furniture, including a corner table. I think it will probably work well for light small boards of about the same size. This didn't work for 6', 7' and 9' boards because the grip couldn't work with boards of different thicknesses at the same height. It really struggles with boards that are around 3 inches thick like many longboards.
