Last spring I bought a NeoSport XSPAN LS T-shirt for a trip to Kauai in early June. I get cold snorkeling so I wanted a top that wasn't too bulky and flexible. I ordered sizes 8 and 10 and kept 10 as 8 felt too tight. I weigh over 120 pounds and am 5ft 3 inches tall with a small chest and petite bone structure. The 10 actually wasn't tight enough in the water as the water seeped in through the wrists and stretched even when wet. That's why they always tell you to dress your wetsuit items as skin tight as possible otherwise they don't work really well, but 10 was fine and they were definitely lighter on hot sandy beaches. 10, while very articulated and flexible, wasn't snug enough and the wrist and neck openings let in too much water, caused drag and didn't warm me enough so I ordered a size 8 this winter and love it for my knees. Swim This is just a great product and it's a lot easier to jump in and start swimming with this top on knowing that the initial shock will be kept to a minimum and you won't feel cold with every hit.
