Review on 🏑 Premium Universal Housewares Gourmet Cast Iron Coffee Grinder: Expertly Crafted for a Perfect Brew by Mayrando Clark

Revainrating 5 out of 5

9 years old and coming strong

Bought in 2011 and have been using it daily for over 9 years. The only complaints are that the espresso is difficult to grind (it usually grinds coarsely and then pulls in the burrs for a second pass) and it's impossible to adjust the grind level. The espresso grind requires a lot of torque and is therefore difficult to turn. The second can be eliminated with a step setting, but most step-adjustable coffee grinders don't allow for espresso and French press settings. If you don't mind a little elbow grease, this is a great coffee grinder.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
