I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!
Two of these 1TB drives (APPLE HDD HTS541010A9E662) are in my Mac Mini (Late 2022), i. E. discs are already 9 years old! Smart indications: System drive: 4 Start_Stop_Count 60113 9 Power_On_Hours 28358 193 Load_Cycle_Count 1161589 Second disk: 4 Start_Stop_Count 71354 9 Power_On_Hours 14445 193 Load_Cycle_Count 822934 Both work without problems so far, but the readings of the 193rd attribute are frightening, I agree. Therefore, I decided to change them for new ones, I decided to take 2TB disks. And these disks are ideal for my NAS server in a RAID-1 mirror (so that if one disk fails, data is not lost), and they will still serve.
- Quiet, reliable. As a counter-argument to many reviews that they are unreliable, I would strongly object to you, see below.
