Review on LS2 Helmets Valiant II Modular Helmet Motorcycle & Powersports by Ryan Fitch

Best Modular Helmet With Lower Bar Fully Extendable Behind Helmet

This is a GREAT helmet and probably the best modular helmet on the market. The bottom bar of the face shield moves up and behind the helmet so you can wear it like a 3/4 helmet while riding. You can wear the face shield up or down, whether the front bar is on the back or not. They are also easily removed/replaced with a pin-lock system and have a range of options including iridium shields. The internal sun visor is easy to use and beautifully tinted. It has enough vents for airflow so my head doesn't get too hot when wearing it. The ratchet buckle is great and much easier to use than the traditional D ring. The helmet has a ton of padding and fits quite snugly. I would definitely measure your head before ordering; I usually wear XS but this one is small and fits just right. XS was too tight. The Revzilla website has a great video review of this helmet that helped me a lot. Make sure you get the VALIENT II and not the Valient 1, which looks very similar but doesn't offer the best features. It also comes in a variety of color options so you can easily find one that matches or matches your bike.
