What drew me to this set was its claimed potential for a 75,000 hour lifespan. It's 3125 days, so I'm hoping to use it for a few years. 2.4W consumed. Indoor and outdoor units have a standard wall plug (non-polarized) that can be plugged into other strings, which is good given that this string is only 17 feet long. They run totally cool so I feel like they're safe. for small needs indoors. BUT = apparently they can only be used seasonally and not permanently like I planned. There is a label on the tip that reads = Caution - this is temporary use - 90 days maximum. Molded bulbs are not interchangeable so no extra bulbs / but 2 extra fuses included. Cable is UL certified /
