I bought these boots in a size 13 which is the size my 5 year old son wears and is the same When he tried them on he said they fit snugly. After a few days they are still comfortable on him, but he still wears them and doesn't wear them for long periods of time. He said they keep his feet warm so that's a plus. Most importantly, they keep his feet dry. My advice is to go up the size, which I should have done as you have to keep in mind that you will probably wear thick socks with it as the lining is very thin. You can adjust both velcro straps to fit tighter around the leg but not looser. Although they look good, there are no seams. The bottom of these boots provides excellent traction on ice and snow. I would recommend but be sure to increase the size.
