I have an above-average small woman's head. The hat girth was fine and adjustable, but I expected the hat to be deeper and the brim wider. The Asian woman wearing the hat in the ad must have been very petite as everything on her looked appropriate. To me it looked like a teenage clown hat which would have turned me on even hotter. My main complaint is about the depth at the top of the hat. It's tiny at the top as there's no extra length of fabric to make it taller, there's no wraparound mesh band at the top to dissipate trapped heat, and there's no airspace at the top. Also worth noting is the lack of a special absorbent bandage that would come in handy on a sultry day. The advertised ventilation consists of only two small mesh holes on each side. I think this hat will be very hot to wear. Because it's small, it looks completely ridiculous on the top quarter of your head when you lift it up the sides to make a cowboy style hat. Great potential but this hat needs improvement in my opinion if you are not a child or very small. To return.
