Review on 🔗 Wanhork 304 Stainless Steel Deck Railing Connectors: 2x4 Stair Handrail Bracket (6 Pairs, Black) by Jeff Warne

First of all I'm just starting out with woodworking. I got them as decorative 2x4 crossbeams for a Japanese garden project. There was an idea to hang lanterns from 2x4. Out of the box, the connectors were heavy and attractive. It comes with a drill and 8 screws per end, 16 screws total. The screws were relatively cheap and came loose too easily. I should note that when I drilled the pilot holes I didn't realize with my first set that the side holes should be drilled at an angle, not straight down. The second thing to note is that I seem to have gotten into a knot with one of the brand new drill bits and it immediately twisted. Additionally, I thought the slots around the rail/2x4 could be a little tighter to avoid twisting when attaching or using shims to hold it in place. Although I liked how the project looked. It really attracted him. I would buy them again if my project required it.
