What can I say about this pump? My Bissell Little Green Clean machine stopped spraying liquid, defeating the purpose of the machine itself, so I knew I had a problem. At first I thought the hose might be clogged, but after disassembling the housing and checking that the hose was free of clogs, my attention turned to the pump itself. Using a multimeter, I made sure the pump was getting power was, but the pump itself did not rotate. Good news, a quick search at Revain found a replacement motor with integrated pump assembly and when I received it the installation was probably complete within 10 minutes. After assembly, the device works like new. The bad news: The design of the machine ensures 100% rotation of the motor when the machine is turned on, even if the trigger on the bar is not pulled. Basically, the trigger just takes the pinch pressure off the hose, allowing the liquid to reach the nozzle. Since the motor and pump are constantly spinning, I'm wondering if the motor could fail due to increased pressure on the pump. Carpet, which means the engine runs much longer. However, I will admit that my machine was at least 6 or 7 years old prior to this failure, so hopefully I won't have to do it again any time soon. Please note that my little green car does not have a heater, so I cannot say if the same pump is used in all models. The description mentions the model numbers it will work with, but it's best to check the model number on your existing motor and match to see if it's compatible.
