Well, you choose well for me.

First, there is no manual. Go to their website and it's very hard to find anything about this monitor. I was about to give it a star when I found out about another LG monitor that worked here. The monitor has a resolution of 3440 x 1440, but when I plugged it in, my Windows 10 computer with a Radeon R9 270 suggested something like 3840 x 2160, so I installed it. How does a monitor exceed its maximum resolution? Anyway, I haven't tried anything as different resolutions worked correctly. I got stretched photos and text, otherwise it wouldn't fill the whole screen. I then discovered that there is a tiny rotary joystick at the bottom of the monitor to enter settings (I kept getting popups to use the arrow keys or press a button to accept, but I saw the full monitor and couldn't find a single button). Well I found the setting for INPUT and then FORMAT RATIO. I assumed Full Wide was correct, but it wasn't. The default was the right ratio but didn't fill the entire screen. Finally I selected Cinema1 then switched to 3440x1440 and it worked. I hope this helped someone because how would anyone find out about this without guidance? [Update 07/13/2020] My previous information concerned an HDMI connection. I ordered a DisplayPort cable and using the full width works and by the way the color and clarity is much better. The refresh rate has also increased from 30 to 60. I don't use it for gaming, I just work at home and occasionally watch YouTube videos.
